GALLO-BELGIC IMPORTED TO BRITAIN, uniniscribed coinage, Gallo-Belgic E, Ambiani type, issued during Gallic War, (c.58-51 B.C.), gold stater, (6.3 grams), obv. blank, rev. crude celticized disjointed horse to right, with separate pellets and crescents in exergue, (S.7, Van A. 54-1). Very fine and rare.
