CLODIUS ALBINUS, (A.D. 195-197), silver denarius, issued A.D. 193-4, Rome mint, obv. bare head to right of Clodius Albinus, around D CL SEPT ALBIN CAES, rev. Roma helmeted seated to left on shield, holding palladium and sceptre, around ROMAE AETERNAE, (S.1730, RIC 11a, C.61). Small flan with partial obverse legend off flan, otherwise very fine and rare.
