CARIA, Carian Islands, Rhodos, (304-167 B.C.), silver didrachm, (6.73 grams), obv. radiate head of Helios three-quarter face to right, rev. rose with bud to right, Athena standing to left helmeted, holds in right hand aplustre, above magistrate name MNASIMAXOS, below P O either side of stem, (cf.S.5048; BMC 143-4). Extremely fine.
