ATTICA, Athens, (300-262 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.99 grams), obv. head of Athena to right wearing ivy crested helmet, rev. owl standing to right head facing, in erect posture, olive twig and crescent behind, to right AYE before all in incuse square, (S.2547; Kraay (Coins of Ancient Athens) Pl.IV, 6; SNG Cop. 65). Miss-shapened flan of elongated form, has been cleaned, otherwise good very fine.
