JUSTINIAN I, (A.D. 527-565), gold tremissis, Constantinople mint, obv. Justinian I bust to right, with diadem, wearing cuirass and paludamentum, around dN IVSTINI ANVS PP AVI, rev. Victory advancing to right head to left, holding wreath and cross on globe, star in right field, around VICTORIA AVGVSTORVM, in exergue CONOB, (S.145, DO 19, R.467-9, BMC 22ff). scratch in obverse field, slightly bent, otherwise good very fine.
