ITALY, Calabria, Tarentum, silver stater, (c.272-235 B.C.), obv. naked boy seated on horse to r., rev. Taras seated left on dolphin, (S.372); Lucania, Metapontum, silver stater, (350-330 B.C.), obv. bearded head of Leukippos to right, with Corinthian helmet, greyhound behind, rev. ear of corn, (S.415); Akarnania, Leucas, silver stater, (350-300 B.C.), obv. Pegasus to left, rev. Athena head helmeted to left, (S.2281). First very porous and cracked, second porous, and third with heavy scratches, otherwise very good - nearly fine. (3)
