DENARIUS ROME MINT (STRUCK UNDER CARACALLA) OBV. Draped bust right Rev. PROPAGO IMPERI Caracalla and Plautilla standing clasping hands (RIC 362;C.21;Sear 2002). Very fine.

The reverse refers to the young couple as stock from which the empire will grow - ironic given Caracalla's subsequent order of Plautilla's death in 212 A.D.
