DENARIUS LUGDUNUM MINT (STRUCK C. 11-9 B.C.) Obv. AVGVSTVS DIVI F laureate head right Rev. IMP XII, ACT below, Apollo standing left holding lyre (RIC 191a(see note);C.-;Sear cf.487). A superb portrait piece, appears to be unpublished, nearly extremely fine and extremely rare.
This coin is not listed in RIC, but is alluded to in footnote 191 which states 'A denarius with obverse legend 1A might be expected' i.e. this coin.
