TRINOVANTES, Uninscribed Coinage, Whaddon Chase Type, (c.55 - 45 B.C.), stater, 5.6 grams, obv. abstracted head of Apollo right, spike as line with pellet at each end, rev. Romanized horse to right, sunflower below, (S.31, Van A. 1472-1). Chipped on edge, otherwise very fine and scarce.
