SYDNEY HARBOUR GOLD LIFE SAVING MEDAL IN FORM OF A STAR WITH SCROLL LOOP SUSPENSION (13.3 grams) by Evan Jones. Obverse depicts Water Policeman wearing senate hat diving off what at Chouder Bay (Mosman) reverse inscribed 'Presented/to/Michael Wallace/by/Traffic Employees of Tramways/for bravery in saving life fron/drowning at Chowder Bay/Oct 1885'. A chrming little medal by the Colonial Sydney jeweller Evans Jones and probably unique, nearly extremely fine.
