NETHERLANDS, William I of Orange (William the Silent) medalet in gold (15 x 25mm, 4.37 grams) probably struck on tercentenary of his death 1572-1872 Saevis Tranquillus In Undis. Edge hallmarked with a leaf mark. Good very fine.

Found in Musterton, N.Z. and sold with accompanying newspaper clipping from Nelson, N.Z.
