KAI TAI GOLD-SMITH, 284 Queen's Road West, Hong Kong, ten dollars, Hong Kong Currency Coupon, undated, No.01056, 202mm x 127mm. The wording on the back states 'This Coupon is exchangeable for jewellery only from the Kai Tai and no refund is allowed. The Kai Tai will not accept a defaced or damaged & unsigned Coupon.' Signed on the front, red Chinese chop and oval hand stamp plus several Chinese characters in pencil on front and back. Two vertical folds otherwise fine/good fine and rare.
A good example of a 'Colonial style' Hong Kong Chinese merchant's note.
