THE MERCANTILE BANK OF INDIA LIMITED, fifty dollars, 1st July 1935, 50031, (Ma M13, P.240a). ISSUED note overstamped SPECIMEN diagonally on front and back in red. Large central tear which has been repaired, adhesive tape marks on corners and back otherwise very good, rare.
This circulated note was probably overstamped SPECIMEN after it was withdrawn from circulation.
