William as Roman emperor, holds arm of Britannia, rev. troops disembark from boats near fortified harbour, large fleet on horizon, (M.I. i,639/65, v.L.III,355, KPK 1419, Eimer 298). Minor edge knock, otherwise good extremely fine, attractive tone, scarce.
