GREAT BRITAIN, medal in silver, the embarkation of Charles II at Scheveningen, 1660, cast and chased, by Pieter van Abeele, 68mms, (60.6 grams), obv. Charles II to facing partly to right, rev. naval departure scene with inscription around and below, (vL. II, 481, KPK 897, Eimer 210). Mottled dark tone, good very fine and rare.

Ex. Tinchant Collection, Brussels 1955. $$ The medal consists of two repousse plates joined at the edge by a broad rim.
