MAXIMINUS II AS CAESAR, (A.D. 308-309), AE folles, (6.93 grams), Alexandria mint, obv. laureate head to right, around GAL VAL MAXIMINVS NOB CAES, rev. GENIO CAESARIS, in field K to left, B over P on right, in exergue ALE, Genius standing to left naked but for floating chlamys, holding cornucopiae, (S.3753, RIC 100a). Extremely fine with some original mint bloom, scarce.
