MAXIMIANUS, (A.D. 286-305), silver argenteus, Trier mint struck as Augustus 294 A.D., (2.91 grams), obv. laureate head to right, around MAXIMIANVS AVG, Rev. around VIRTVS MILITVM the four princes sacrificing in front of a camp gate, C in exergue, (S. 3606, RIC 109b). Struck on a large flan, attractive tone, extremely fine and rare.
