MAXIMINUS I, (A.D. 235-238), silver denarius, Rome mint, (2.97 grams), obv. laureate bust of Maximinus to right, around IMP MAXIMINVS PIVS AVG, rev. around PAX AVGVSTI, Pax standing half left, holding branch and transverse septre, (S.2339, RIC 12, C.31a). Brilliant uncirculated and rare in this condition.
