MAXIMINUS I, (A.D. 235-238), silver denarius, (3.09 grams), Rome mint, obv. laureate, draped and cuirassed bust to right of Maximinus, around IMP MAXIMINVS PIVS AVG, rev. Pax standing facing head to left, holding sceptre and branch, around PAX AVGVSTI, (BMC 1, RIC 7A, C.7, S.2337). Attractive tone, extremely fine.
