JULIA MAESA, grandmother of Elagabalus, (A.D. 218-222), AE as, Rome mint, obv. draped bust of Julia Maesa to right, around IVLIA MAESA AVG, rev. PVDICITIA, Pudicitia seated to left, (S.2183, RIC 76), other denarii of Julia Domna of very small flan, and base issue of Severus Alexander (S.1853, 2241). Nearly very fine, first scarce. (3)
