JULIA MAESA, grandmother of Elagabalus, (c.A.D.218-225), silver denarius, Rome mint, (2.74 grams), obv. draped bust to right, IVLIA MAESA AVG, rev. PVDIC ITIA, Pudicitia seated to left, holding sceptre and raising veil, (S.2183, RIC 268, C.36). Small flan crack, otherwise as struck, good extremely fine and rare in this condition.
