HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius, issued 118, Rome mint, (3.45 grams), obv. laureate, draped on far shoulder, head to right of Hadrian, around IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG, rev. Concordia seated to left, holding patera, CONCORD in exergue, around P M TR P COS II, (S.-, RIC 39, C.252). Striking chip in edge, well centred, otherwise extremely fine and rare in this condition.
