CLAUDIUS, (A.D. 41-54), silver denarius, (3.57 grams), issued 41-2., Rome mint, obv. TI CLACD CAESAR AVG P M TR P, laureate head to right, rev. PACI AVGVSTAE around, Pax Nemesis winged, advancing to left, holding winged caduceus pointing down at snake, (cf.S.631, RIC 10 [R3], Hunterian No.4). Fine and very rare.
