BACTRIA, Eucratides, (170-145 B.C.), silver obol, (0.69 grams), obv. diademed and draped bust of Eucratides to right, rev. caps of the Dioscouroi and two palm-branches, BASILEWS EYKPATI**DOY, monogram to right MI in field, (cf.S.7577, M.180 var., Bop. Series 3E). Extremely fine and very rare in this condition.
