ITALY, Lucania, Thurium (Thourioi), (350-281 B.C.), silver stater, (7.84 grams), obv. head of Athena to right wearing Athenian helmet, ornamented with figure of Scylla, rev. bull butting to right, [Y]OURIWN in exergue, SI above, Nike flying to right above, (cf.S.448; not present in any major collections). Original mint bloom, good extremely fine and extremely rare type.

This issue with the ethnic in the exergue and Nike above is not noted. the condition of this coin makes it as struck.
