ITALY, Calabria, Taras, (272-235 B.C.), silver stater, (6.44 grams), obv. naked boy rider crowning stationary horse to right, below **XENE AE, above to left, EY, to right **FI, rev. Taras astride a dolphin to left, holding a rhyton, to right a spike of corn with leaf, **[T] A PAS below (cf.S.374, Vl.866, SNG ANS 1195 same dies). Very fine.
