ITALY, Calabria, Taras, (272-235 B.C.), silver stater, (6.59 grams), obv. naked boy rider crowning stationary horse to left, below **LVKI NOS in two lines, above to right, **SV, rev. Taras astride a dolphin to left, holding a chlamys on left arm, brandishing a trident, to right an owl facing, **TA PA[S] below, (cf.S.374, Vl.836, SNG ANS 1165). Nearly extremely fine.
