AZIZ-UD-DIN 'ALAMGIR II, (A.H. 1167-1173), (A.D. 1754-1759), round Gold third mohur or pagoda, struck at Imtiyazgarh (Adoni) mint (South India), no date or Regnal year, obv. Alamgir II name at top, rev. mint name, (BMC 1068-1070a, Indian Museum Calcutta 2179-2181, Lucknow 4347-8, KM 468.1). Nearly extremely fine and rare.

Ex. Wreck of the 'Fame' wrecked at Sea Point, Table Bay, Cape Town, 14th June 1822.
