AURANGZEB, (A.H. 1068-1118, A.D. 1658-1707), round gold mohur, struck at Allahabad mint, Regnal year 21, issued A.H. 1088 (1677-8), obv. Aurangzeb name and date at top, rev. mint name on coin at base, Regnal year in central row, (KM.315.9, cf.Indian Museum Calcutta 1122, cf.Lucknow Museum 2458a, cf.Nagpur Museum 982). Good very fine with trace of mint bloom, rare not present for this date for this mint in major published collections.
