AURANGZEB, (A.H. 1068-1118, A.D. 1658-1707), round gold mohur, struck at Akbarabad, Mustaqir-ul-Mulk mint, Regnal year 39, issued A.H. 1107 (1695-6), obv. Aurangzeb name at top, date lower left, rev. mint name on coin at top and in centre, Regnal year in bottom row, (KM.315.6, cf.Provincial Museum Lucknow 2458, cf.Nagpur Museum 979). Extremely fine with trace of mint bloom, rare not present for this date for this mint in major published collections.
