SAJID, abu'l-Musafir Fath b.Mohammad (A.H. 315-318) (A.D. 927-930), issued under al-Muqtadir, (A.H. 295-320) (A.D. 908-932), gold dinar, Barda'a mint (Armenia between Caspian and Black seas), A.H. 315?, = A.D. 927?, with additional field inscriptions on obverse 'Amir al Mu'minin' bottom line, reverse bottom lines 'al-Muqtadir billah/al-Fath bin' and two dots, above 'li-'Ilah' (to Allah) and a dot to right, (cf.A.1480, Not in BMC or M., cf.Spink-Zurich sale 31 lot 306). Very fine and extrmely rare.

A pure Abbasid coinage struck under the earliest minor dynasty of Adharbayjan and Armenia.
