HUSAM AL-DAWLA AL-MUQALLAD TOGETHER WITH JANAH AL-DAWLA, (A.H. 385-391) (A.D. 996-1001), as ruler in Mosul, silver dirham, A.H. 388 = A.D. 998, additional symbols on obverse and reverse, (A.756, cf.M. 612). Weak in places, good fine and very rare.

A Bedouin dynasty that ruled in the Jazira and parts of Syria from about 990-1096. A coinage of silver dirhams only was struck.
