AL-WALID I (A.H. 86-96) (A.D. 705-715), silver anonymous dirham, Suq al-Ahwaz mint (Khuzistan Province), A.H. 93 = A.D. 712, (A.128, BMC -, W. 441 noted as unique). Graffiti on obverse, otherwise very fine and extremely rare.

Walker notes that the British Museum specimen was first recorded and noted by John Allan in Num. Chron. 1919 (p.195). He further notes that the coin is unique.
