AL-WALID I (A.H. 86-96) (A.D. 705-715), silver anonymous dirham, Ardashir-Khurrat mint (Firuzabad in Farsistan), A.H. 90 = A.D. 709, (A.128, BMC 44, W.258). Dark tone, nearly extremely fine and rare.

A similar specimen (same date and mint), not as nice was in sale 45 (lot 3962). Only a few specimens are known for ths mint.
