ARAB-SASSANIAN ISSUES, silver hemidrachm of the Muslim successors of Tabaristan by anonymous Arab rulers, with 'Afzut (strong)' instead of governors name, (PYE 123-143, A.H. 158-178, A.D. 774-794), year 143 (A.D. 794), with outer reverse dots replaced with four fleur-de-lys, (added decoration) (A.73, W. ANS 33 [p.160, Pl.XXVII, 18], cf.M. 292). Good very fine and rare.
