ARAB-SASSANIAN ISSUES, silver hemidrachm of the Muslim successors of Tabaristan, by Arab Governor Umar with name in Pahlavi (PYE 120-129, A.H. 155-164, A.D. 771-780), year 124 (A.D. 775), (A.55, W.263-5 [p.135, Pl.XXXIV,2-3], cf.M. 277). Cracked through centre of flan, otherwise nearly extremely fine and scarce.
