NORMAN KINGDOM OF SICILY, Tancred, (A.D. 1189-1194), gold tari, (1.44 grams), issued 1189-1194, obv. central dot and line, Arabic script around, rev. cross, in two lines IC XC/ NI KA, Arabic script around, (Spahr 125). Small flan as usual, otherwise very fine and very rare.

Spahr notes that the issue rates RR in Spinelli (1844) and RRRR in the Muscatello collection.
