CARUS, Divvs issue, (died A.D.283), posthumous antoninianus, Lugdunum mint, issued A.D. 283, (4.02 grams), obv. radiate head of Carus to right, around DIVO CARO PIO, rev. around CONSECRATIO, eagle standing left looking upwards, II in exergue, (cf.S.3415, RIC 29c). Attractive brown patina nearly extremely fine and rare.
