ELAGABALUS, (A.D. 218-222), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 219, obv. laureate bust of Elagabalus draped to right, around IMP ANTONINVS PIVS AVG, rev. around P M TR P II COS II P P, Sol radiate standing to half left, raising right hand and holding whip, (S.2107, RIC 17, C.134). Off centred on obverse, otherwise nearly extremely fine.
