COMMODUS, (A.D. 177-192), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 186-189, obv. laureate head of Commodus to right, around M COMM ANT P FEL AVG BRIT, rev. around 0PTIME MAXIME, CVPP in exergue, Jupiter standing to left, holding thunderbolt and sceptre, (S.1625, RIC 192, C.387). Off centred on the reverse, extremely fine/nearly extremely fine and very scarce.
