FAUSTINA JUNIOR, wife of Marcus Aurelius, (died A.D. 175), AE sestertius, issued after A.D. 161, Rome mint, (23.80 grams), obv. draped bust to right of Faustina wearing diadem, around FAVSTINA AVGVSTA, rev. Salus seated to left, feeding snake twined around altar, around SALVTI AVGVSTAE, S C in exergue, (S.1511, RIC 1668, C.200). Very fine with uneven dark green patina.
