FAUSTINA JUNIOR, wife of Marcus Aurelius, (died A.D. 175), AE sestertius, issued after A.D. 161, Rome mint, (23.80 grams), obv. draped bust to right of Faustina wearing diadem, around FAVSTINA AVGVSTA, rev. Hilaritas standing to left, holding long palm and cornucopiae, around HILARITAS, S C across field, (S.1511, RIC 1642, C.112). Nearly very fine with uneven dark green patina.
