AELIUS, (Caesar A.D. 136-138), AE sestertius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 137, (27.51 grams), obv. bare head of Aelius to right, around [L] AELIVS CAES[AR], rev. [P]ANNO NIA and S C across field, Pannonia towered standing to front, head to left, holding vexillum and raising skirt on left side, around TR POT [CO]S II, (S.1214, RIC 1059, C.24, BMC 1919). A most attractive unworn head, dark brown patina, head nearly extremely fine, otherwise very fine and rare.
