SYRIA, Kingdom of, Antiochus III, (223-187 B.C.), silver drachm, (3.65 grams), Ecbatana mint, series IV issued c.205-200 B.C., obv. head to right, wearing diadem, rev. elephant to right, traces of legend above and below, MHI monogram to right, (S.6940, ESM 631). Some surface porosity on reverse, otherwise good fine/nearly fine and rare.
