THRACE ISLANDS, Thasos, (after 148 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.41 grams), obv. head of young Dionysos wearing ivy wreath to right, rev. naked Herakles standing facing head to left, holding club and lion skin, around **HPAKLEOUS [S]WTHROS [Q]ASIWN, to left in field MH monogram, (S.1759, BMC 67-78, SNG Cop. 1048-9). Slightly bent, fine.
