ITALY, Lucania, Metapontum, (c.400-350 B.C.), silver stater, (7.52 grams), obv. head of female (Kore) to right, the hair is held by a figured sphendone, rev. corn ear, MET[A] to right, stalk to left, **[UD] above stalk, (cf.S.409, Noe [NN&M 47, 1984] 446, SNG Lloyd 348 [same dies]). Good fine and scarce.
