ITALY, Campania, Hyria, (c.405-400 B.C.), silver stater, didrachm or nomos, (7.35 grams), Rutter Phase I, Group 4, obv. head of Athena to right, wearing crested Athenian helmet, owl across helmet, all within thick circular border, rev. bull walking to right, double exergue-line, legend above **ANEDU, (cf.S.294, Rutter No.31 [obv. die 23, rev. die 27], Hunterian 2). Large flan, nearly very fine and rare.
