WILLIAM II, (1087-1100), silver penny, Cross voided type, Southwark mint, issued 1092-1095, obv. crowned bust facing with stars each side, rev. voided cross pattee over a cross annulet, annulet in centre, around +LIFPINE ON SIID (Lifwine of Southwark), (S.1260, North 853, SCBI Oxford 202 same dies, Br.3, BMC iii, 221 [same dies]). Surface flan crack on obverse, otherwise very fine and very rare.
