WILLIAM I, (1066-1087), silver penny, Two sceptres type, London mint, issued 1072-1074, obv. crowned diademed bust facing with a sceptre at each side, rev. cross fleury with annulet in centre, over saltire botonne, around +BLIICSIINII ON LIIN (Blacsun of London), (S.1253, North 844, BMC iv, Br.IV). Good very fine and very rare.

Ex. Mack (Auction I, 228), and also Mack Sylloge (1373), Ridgemount Collection and Spink Auction Sale 69 (lot 113).
