CHARLES II, (1660-1685), hammered coinage, first issue, double crown, Tower mint, m.m. crown on obverse only, issued 1660-1662, laureate bust of king wearing plain armour to left, rev. crowned oval garnished shield, C R at sides, (N.2755, S.3302). Good fine and very rare.
